We invite you and your organization to join us again in sponsoring this exciting and highly informative event. Knowledge is power and there is no greater gift for these families than the knowledge needed to effectively advocate for their children. Sponsorships are available at the following levels. All sponsorships come with recognition on TxP2P website and an annual subscription to our newsletter. In addition to the levels, sponsorship of meals (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches), child care, or the Family Gathering is also available.

What is the Parent Conference?
Our Parent Conference educates parents from across Texas about how to deal with the unique issues and challenges they face on a daily basis in caring for their children. The conference offers themed tracks comprised of multiple sessions, each covering a different topic, over the course of three days. This year’s tracks include Advocacy, Autism, Behavior, Medical, Resources, Self-Deterination, Special Education, Transition to Adulthood, and sessions in Spanish.

The knowledge we share with parents at the conference empowers them to advocate for their child’s needs. The conference also provides a rare opportunity for parents to connect with peers – other parents who have “walked a mile” in their shoes, and whose experience and insight into the challenges they face gives them more support and hope than any course or seminar ever could.
