To receive our quarterly newsletter and conference information, please fill out the registration form below and submit it via the internet or print it out and mail it to us. The professionals that work with our children can be very important to our child as well as to us as parents. When a good relationship develops between a family and professionals, it makes our life so much easier. When the relationship is not good, it can make all involved miserable and the child can be the real loser. TxP2P work with families to learn better ways to communicate with professionals. We hope to help professionals learn more about the global effects of having a child with a disability or chronic illness in their family so they can better understand some of the stressors in our lives. To do that we offer the following services: Medical Education Program (MEd.): Family to Family Health Information Center: Parent Speakers for Medical, Education, or Religious Programs: Parent Speakers for Colleges, Universities and Seminaries: Disability Related Organizations and Agencies: Contact Debbie Wiederhold (Debbie@txp2p.org) or Laura Warren (Laura@txp2p.org) or call them at toll-free 866-896-6001 or local Austin number at 512-458-8600. |
