Medicaid Buy-In for Children can help pay medical bills for children with disabilities. This program helps families who need health insurance, but make too much money to get traditional Medicaid. Families “buy in” to Medicaid by making a monthly payment (premium). | |

| UnitedHealthCare Children's Foundation - Family Grants Online application at the foundation's Web site at http://uhccf.org. To be eligible for a grant, children must be 16 years of age or younger. Families must meet economic guidelines, reside in the United States, and be covered by a commercial health benefit plan. Individuals who receive care via Medicaid, Medicare or other state or federally subsidized health insurance programs are not eligible. |
Offering grants (up to $5,000) to help children who need critical health care treatment, services or equipment which is not covered -- or not fully covered -- by their parents' health benefit plans. The grants can help families pay for child health care services such as speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy sessions, prescriptions and medical equipment such as wheelchairs, orthotics and eyeglasses. | |
